Van's Social stuff: Attention Title I school Teacher and Parent friends!! READ THIS and then contact me for more information! Dear Title I Family Liaisons and all those who work to promote Family Engagement, We need your help in contacting parents at your school. We are very pleased to announce that scholarships are available to pay for Title I parents to attend conferences in April. These are Title I District Family Engagement Funds, not from the schools. Limit 3 parents from each APS Title I school or APS Title I Charter School. You may also be able to use your school Title I funds to send additional parents if funds are available. Two conferences are available: (registrations attached ) Parents Reaching Out Conference is April 16 -17 Deadline to apply is April 10th (This conference is designed mainly for parents that have children in Special Education or have a disability) NM PTA Statewide conference April 24-25 Deadline to apply is April 17th (This conference is for both PTA and non-PTA parents, it focuses on leadership and operations to build capacity) It is very important that if you register attendance is necessary. Childcare is NOT provided at either conference, food is provided as mentioned in the conference flyer. Hotel accommodations are NOT provided. Fill out the application and send it in electronically or by FAX prior to the deadline.
