As I start could you please, Pray for me. Pray for my sins, as I begin to try again. Start a new game. Got a new quarter. Not sendin’ myself to the slaughter. Layin’ the mortar, better life for my daughter and other youngin’s that may come. Stop the get up and run and get the shit done. Close my eyes, raise my face. Feel the sun. Won’t you Pray for me. Pray for me as I build back myself and my health. Cherish my wealth in family I’m rich in love No longer a cloud above my head and no more dread in my future.
