Van's Social stuff: Well I am leaving The Whipping Man behind me. I have learned so much from this experience. I love that I can walk away from a show with a deeper understanding about who I am, all because I pretended to be someone else.I think that as I step into the life of someone else I am able to more easily recognize my shortcomings and insecurities, which are many. Even in fiction I can see my reflection, and through my character's eye's I have seen "all I need to know about the man [I] am. The free man [I'm} gonna be."
