I've been in front of audiences from 50-500 dozens of times. I've been in Shakespeare plays, modern plays, original plays, plays where I danced juggled and gotten naked. I've really never been nervous except for those times when my father was in the audience. But, being in front of a large group of people and just being myself has been making me a little anxious. I am calming myself by knowing that I have been tested in trials of fire, walked through desolate wastelands of fear and self doubt, and I have emerged with scars that shine like badges of honor. I will stand tall today in the knowledge that I Make a Difference and I am telling others how we can band together and change the world... Still crazy nervous though!

To Giz, SpeedOne, Phil and my other friends with very young children (specifically daughters. Yes this is going to be uncharacteristically gender biased... Sue me) ... I hope you are still diligently looking for a way to halt the aging of your little ones... My daughter has just reached one of many milestones from which there is no turning back. Next comes body changes, hormonal changes and then angsty teen drama that I don't want to deal with. I love the woman that my Punk Butt is turning into, but I miss the little girl who hung on her daddy's arms and words. Why must the world revolve around the sun so fast?

Well I am leaving The Whipping Man behind me. I have learned so much from this experience. I love that I can walk away from a show with a deeper understanding about who I am, all because I pretended to be someone else.I think that as I step into the life of someone else I am able to more easily recognize my shortcomings and insecurities, which are many. Even in fiction I can see my reflection, and through my character's eye's I have seen "all I need to know about the man [I] am. The free man [I'm} gonna be."
